ArmourCool HD Cap is reinforced with a composite mat that is saturated and coated with SBS modified bitumen to a thickness of 4.0 mm (158 mils) (one roll is 1m x 8m, 8m area). This composite mat has an added fiberglass grid in the polyester mat, making it especially strong and dimensionally stable (better lay straight tendencies). Highly reflective mineral granules are embedded in the surface to provide protection against UV radiation, and a light poly-film is bonded to the underside (which disappears upon heat-welding).

This product is manufactured from a high strength non-woven composite polyester mat which has been strengthened with a glass fiber scrim in both machine and cross directions. This composite mat is fully permeated with asphalt then heavily coated with our select polymer blend of SBS. The top surface is covered with a thin layer of poly film, which disappears upon heat-welding of the cap sheet. The bottom surfacing is sand to prevent sticking in the roll. A double release self adhesive selvage, incorporating a highly adhesive SBS coating, is provided for complete self-adhesive lap seaming. Fast-N-Stick HD Base is a strong lay flat base sheet to be used as a mechanically fastened base sheet in the Fast-N-Weld System.

Ceramic, mineral granules are embedded in the surface to provide protection against ultraviolet radiation, and a light poly-film is bonded to the underside (which disappears upon heat-welding). This product is meant to complete the top surface of a 2 ply SBS modified bitumen roofing system. The composite reinforcement imparts tremendous strength and shock absorbing properties to the membrane as well as excellent dimensional stability both before and after application.

Torchflex HD-FF-Base is constructed using a mat of durable non-woven composite polyester mat which has been strengthened with a glass fiber scrim in both machine and cross directions. The mat is fully permeated with asphalt then heavily coated with our select polymer blend of SBS. Both surfaces are covered with a thin poly-film. The top film will melt during the application of the heat welded cap sheet while the bottom film dissolves during heat welding to the substrate. Torchflex HD-FF-Base can be used as the lay-flat base sheet in a layered membrane construction system.
